Adoption Rocks was proud to introduce Sister Schubert as our Speaker at the 2011 Adoption Rocks fundraiser. Sister Schubert “the famous roll lady” from Alabama but internationally known, delighted us with a cooking demonstration while she told supporters her life story and how adoption has touched her life. Sister’s wit and humor were truly a treat as well as her scrumptious bites. Sister Schubert donated a portion of the proceeds from her cookbook sales as well as her time to Adoption Rocks. We are so thankful for the generosity of Sister Schubert.

Adoption Rocks fundraiser featured Miss Alabama, singer Carla Williams, past adoptive couple’s story and a birthmother’s testimony. It was a wonderful night full of support for adoption. Thank you to all those who support adoption and your contribution to the community. Special thanks to Claire’s Hope, Women’s Resource Center and DHR who brought beautiful women to listen to the about the wonderful option of adoption.
