Why Adoption?
We were led to adoption through infertility. In November 2007, after 2 years of trying for a second child, we both found that we have medical issues which make it difficult to achieve a pregnancy. In September 2008 we felt the Lord was pointing us to adoption and we started our journey towards it. We are open to many different situations including any gender or race.
Both sides of our families are very excited we are chosing to adopt. Although Paul's family does not have any adopted family members, Jessica's cousin was adopted and her family is already accustomed to the joy it brings.
We plan on telling our child about their Adoption from the very beginning. We will always talk about their birthparents and their journey to us in a positive way. It is such an amazing thing to be involved in and we feel so blessed to expand our family this way.
